Job Description

As a Manager, DevOps Engineering, you will establish and facilitate CI/CD best practices, cloud/container-based orchestration and establish automated testing strategies. You will focus on the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tooling and continuous delivery cycle, helping teams and organizations provide agility and business-value. In addition, you will create conceptual architecture and solution design materials, and lead the development of the solution to client specifications.


Day-to-day you will:'

- Coordinate meetings for complex issues to coach your team to better understand and align to internal and external business issues and best practices- Engage with the delivery of deliverables to offer and discover solutions

- Oversee product configuration and change management

- Monitor, mentor, and Lead teams to overcome roadblocks and challenges and to implement coordination

- Engage with your teams by holding frequent meetings and discussions to hold team members accountable for their responsibilities and to Create dialogue about concerns- Coordinate meetings for complex issues within the DevOp and Agile team to coach them to better understand and align to internal and external business issues and best practices

- Oversee and manage a cross-functional development team that designs, develops, and enhances software assets that meet or exceed internal and external (client) expectations, in line with product functionality, cost and delivery schedules.

- Apply knowledge to create an environment that fosters accountability, quality, commitment, growth and innovation and support the sales process as needed.

- Recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards. 

- Own product line engineering responsibility within a business unit: Own, manage, and communicate engineering metrics; has responsibilities across geographies; manages the cost of engineering across portfolios and capabilities; articulates the quality of the software and what quality improvement measures are in place; measure of responsibility for client satisfaction of the products, and responsible for cost of implementation



Core Skills:

  • Azure DevOps implementation using ADO (VSTS), TFS, .Net, SQL, SQL BI, Ansible, performance assessment


Preferred Skills:

  •  five years of experience with web application and SQL coding
  •  3-5 years of experience in a leadership and architect role, managing large global teams. 
  • Experience in the creation of VSTS / TFS build and release pipelines, custom build & release scripts, configuration of VSTS Artifactory & TFS drop location and TFS build controllers
  • Proficient in configuration of VSTS / TFS build server, controller and build / deployment agent pools on server
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure management
  • Experience with Ansible script creation and modification for environment configuration
  • Proficiency in ADO (VSTS) / TFS concepts on security control, backlog management, branching, merging and code reversal.
  • Proficiency in Git version control
  • Excellent troubleshooting all build and deployment issues
  • Proficiency with coding / debugging of custom build and deployment scripts in PowerShell, Ansible runbooks, YML builds, C# .Net, MS Build, BAT and vb10
