Avanade’s Legacy Transformation CoE prides itself on over 25 years in providing fast and flexible legacy transformations for large customers.
Our flagship: Avanade Automated Migration Technology (AMT)
Sitting in our Coevorden office in The Netherlands, we are a team of highly skilled and experienced IT professionals dedicated to Legacy Transformation. We build the technology to automatically convert large enterprise IT systems from old technology to new technology and bring these IT systems into the Cloud.
Our staff are .NET and Java experts that maintain and expand the components of the AMT product.:
We would like you to:
• Design and develop high-performance, security-focused, and robust APIs
• Integrate with other backend systems
• Have a solid understanding of agile software development teams and processes
• Contribute actively to the design, coding, integration, testing and deployment of high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct code reviews and suggest areas for refactoring and improvement
• Have a keen eye for identifying improvement opportunities, and the skill to get buy-in and ensure implementation
We would like you to have at least:
• 3+ years of experience with Java development and design
• Have programming experience with Python, IntelliJ, Jenkins, Docker, GITHUB, Angular and SonarQube;
• Have experience with Azure DevOps is a benefit
• Have knowledge of Java and (software for) relational databases;
• It would be a plus if you also have .NET experience.
You will need to know:
• Agile processes and ceremonies
• GIT
• Continuous Integration
• Test-Driven Methodologies
*Candidates must be living, or willing to relocate to an area commutable to the Coevorden office on regular basis.
