The Intelligent Automation offering helps our customers reduce costs by optimizing and digitizing their business processes and automating manual tasks through BPM, DPA, RPA and Artificial Intelligence techniques.

Role Overview

As Intelligent Automation Solution Architect your responsibility will be to work closely with customers to understand their business needs and propose innovative solutions that enable customers to achieve their business objectives.

The scope of the solutions you will design may include different components:

  • Automation and Robotization platforms: Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath, Blue Prism and Automation Anywhere.
  • Artificial Intelligence: Microsoft Cognitive Services and Azure Machine Learning
  • Azure Infrastructure services: Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Virtual Machine, SCCM, Microsoft Intune, etc.
  • Development services in Azure: App Service, web APIs development, Azure API Management, etc.
  • Process Mining: Minit, Celonis, etc.

You will deliver relevant and sustainable customer technical proposals based on your knowledge, as part of the Avanade Data & AI Market Unit.

Key to this role is that the individual will be an expert in selecting the optimal architecture and delivery approach that will service clients’ needs with a balance of costs, capability, and risks to achieve the business outcomes.

You will be a technical counterpart to Business Developers and Account Leads, supporting sales by providing technical expertise, acting as a customer interface to Avanade technology solutions, offerings and technical capabilities during Avanade's sales process.

Key Role Responsibilities

Day-to-day you will:

·       Develop technical value propositions which address customer needs and positively differentiate Avanade

·       Develop technical architectures

·       Build technical relationships with customer IT, mapping customer business and technology challenges into Intelligent Automation solutions

·       Lead direction on scope, approach, and estimation for technical aspects of proposal development activities

·       Support the negotiation and contracting process through balancing scope, resources, and milestone requirements

·    Analyze current business practices, processes, and procedures as well as identifying future business opportunities for leveraging Automation solutions.

·     Identify and prioritize the technical skills that will be in demand in our Delivery Teams, so that we can plan the adequate training.

Key Skills

        Proven experience in the definition and implementation of scalable and fault-tolerant robotization architectures

        Proven experience in the leadership of process discovery processes, elaboration of KPIs with clients and definition of hyper-automation implementation strategies and roadmaps.

        Demonstrated experience of turning business use case and requirements to technical solutions. 

        Experience leading Microsoft Power Platform projects, with focus on Microsoft Power Automate and Microsoft Power Automate Desktop.

        Candidates with knowledge of process mining with Minit or Celonis will be highly valued.

        Knowledge and experience in commercial RPA platforms such as UIPath, Blue Prism or Automation Anywhere is a plus.

        Experience developing IaaS and PaaS solutions in Microsoft Azure.

        Deep knowledge of desktop virtualization platforms and procedures such as Azure Virtual Desktop or Citrix.

        Strong background in Microsoft cognitive services, especially about natural language processing and document understanding services.

        Build strong technical credibility with customers and internally with delivery teams

        Proven delivery background and significant technology consulting experience

        Eagerness to learn new solutions and architecture patterns and be ready to apply them.

        Highly customer-focused with commercial sensitivity

        Good oral and written communication skills

        Able to develop customer relationships
