Job Description

Avanade France is seeking an IT Support Lead to support our France team and Paris office. Avanade is a global company and part of Microsoft and Accenture. Our France team has all the advantages of a smaller organization, but we also benefit from our global network.

As an IT Support Lead, you will leverage your technical knowledge and contribute to Avanade’s overall IT support function. You will assist with technical support and escalations for employees, primarily in France. You will support hardware issues (e.g., laptops), and user technical support. You will also deploy devices to the Avanade workforce. Overall, you will follow defined procedures and practices to resolve issues and assist users. You need to be located in Paris and be available to go into the office. Your closest IT Support colleagues will be located in Gallia and Europe. 

Additionally, you will ensure define procedures, practices and methods are being adhere to by the junior team members. Overall, you will work closely with upper management to resolve simple to complex issues with your department.

About the job:
Day-to-day you will:
• Develop local policies and procedures that comply with global IT standards
• Document, local, IT environments, e.g., network diagrams, system, configurations etc.
• Take responsibility for IT asset lifecycle management efforts, e.g. inventory, imaging, distribution support, retirement, etc.
• Use access control, and security knowledge to assist stakeholders
• Support Mac and Windows OS issues
• Procure laptops and accessories when necessary after seeking approval from business stakeholders
• Take responsibility for office and regional events using tools like Live Events
• Manage and support AV in the meeting rooms
• Manage stakeholder relationships in your office
• Support and mentor junior team members in your region
• Address any team concerns or user escalations
• Lead efforts to deploy laptops, system access, software upgrades, and any other on-site deployment related activity

Managing IT environment:
• Assist in implementation affecting the IT environment, e.g. LAN communications
• Ensure system security through system systems access rights in local environment help ensure sensitive stakeholder data is protected

• Detect receive, and log internal customer problems, requests, and/or issues of increasing capacity, investigating incidents with stake
• Perform customer request and identification, following define investigation, resolution, escalation, and documentation pro
• Lead incident, notification and escalation efforts, insuring effective communication to key stakeholders
• Manage the delivery of IT production systems and services monitoring incidents, issues, and outages
• Monitor systems and prevent occurrence of incident, problems, and errors and improve overall performance

Skills and Experiences:
• Demonstrated experience working with and supporting users on Microsoft platform, technologies, and tools
• Experience working with and troubleshooting of Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, M365
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP Ethernet and Internet
• Experience troubleshooting latest Windows and Mac OS
• Working knowledge of incident management tools like Service Now

• Demonstrated experiences stakeholder expectations, management
• Results oriented, self-directed ability to change and unstructured environment
• You will likely possess an undergrad degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in an IT related field
• You will likely have several years of experience working in a support or related function in an IT environment
