The Opportunity:


We have 2 newly created positions for Shift Engineers to join the support team in our new Managed Service Delivery centre (MSDC) in Ottawa. The centre has been created to offer in-country, best in class service to our clients on their modernisation journey to the Microsoft cloud and modern workplace solutions. These roles present a great opportunity to learn more about the Microsoft


Day to Day:


  • Working with client side users to troubleshooting a variety of infrastructure and application issues
  • Working in a ticketed Service Delivery / Managed Services environment
  • Working in collaboration with other Engineers and re-routing  tickets where required
  • Working to a number of service level agreements regarding timing and quality of service delivery
  • Keeping up to date with new systems updates and enhancements as required.
  • Training and expanding your knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Shift patterns apply


You are:


  • Looking for a career in IT Service Delivery and an employer who will support your development and ambition
  • You may be new to this field or looking to expand on your existing experience with a great team
  • Passionate about impeccable service delivery and a have a proactive and collaborative approach to clients / customers
  • Motivated, results-focused and committed to excellence
  • Organised with  great prioritisation and time management skills
  • In your element when working with others and collaborating
  • A good communicator, with an ability to discuss technical topics with tech and non tech audiences
  • Excited by the impact technology can have and interested in learning new tech and skills
  • Capable of thriving in a structured and process orientated environment, but you enjoy change and can adapt to change
  • Happy to expand your knowledge - we can offer training and qualifications for those who are new to the Microsoft Ecosystem. ITIL experience would be great, but training on this is also available
