Global Identity & Access Management – Offering Lead

Avanade is looking for an experienced, Global Identity & Access Management Lead, with notable experience developing offerings and go to market (GTM) with Microsoft and other vendors’ I&AM solutions. This is predominantly a practice and service building role, meaning you will have the opportunity to shape and structure how and what we sell, solution and deliver across Avanade’s I&AM solutions globally.


We provide the unique opportunity to help develop market leading Microsoft platform focused I&AM and Zero Trust Services and also have strategic relationships with Saviynt, One Identity, and Zscaler who you will play a key role in developing the relationship with, as well as working with your fellow Offering leads who cover Industry focused Security, Data Protection, Cloud Security, App Security and Managed Security Services.


As we are part owned by Microsoft (as well as Accenture) you will have unique access to the I&AM product group within Microsoft, and the ideal candidate will have strong relationship building skills, able to become a representative of I&AM globally for Avanade to Microsoft.


With your strong relationship management skills, you also establish and grow a strong relationship with Accenture’s I&AM leadership, helping to embed Microsoft into their offerings, and support them with strategic opportunities.


You will also work with our Global Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, which provides cutting edge Microsoft Security pre-sales and solution development expertise to our regions, helping them grow by winning strategic and bleeding edge opportunities. Within the CoE is a I&AM focused set of architects who will learn from you and in turn you have an extended team within your Offering area to help you be successful.


The Global Identity & Access Management Lead role is a mixture of I&AM offering development and leadership, relationship development and management and solutions pre-sales expertise. As customer connection is key to remaining relevant we also expect you to establish key relationships with our most strategic clients helping to drive their I&AM strategies, bringing the best of Avanade, Microsoft and Accenture to help them reach new levels of maturity in their I&AM departments.


As the Offering lead, you will be responsible for development of our I&AM offerings, associated assets / accelerators and help drive offering performance from a sales perspective. This includes troubleshooting parts of the business not growing in this space, therefore it is key that you can engage the business and our clients with your Offering, growing sales, and revenue year on year in line with growth targets.



Setting you up for success


To be successful in the role, you should be comfortable with the full lifecycle of I&AM (discovery / assessment, analysis, design, build, test, deployment, and managed services). You should be a leader and trusted advisor to our clients, being a significant presence in any meeting, bringing the voice of Security Risk to our clients and our colleagues, helping them to identify and mitigate risk with innovative I&AM and supporting security solutions. You should be comfortable leading workshops and presenting to large audiences including on-stage events at industry conferences, demonstrating your thought leadership. You should be passionate about supporting and developing other members of the team, both junior and senior, helping them to know what you know, and learning from others that understand things that you may not.


About you:


  • You understand and have skills for Offering development lifecycle, establishing Go-To-Market campaigns and Capacity & Capability development plan for the Offering
  • You develop offerings for clients that provide the kind of service that improves the way they operate, designing and deploying creative I&AM solutions that not only protect identities from attack, but also innovate the lifecycle management of identities, from joiners, movers and leavers, to cutting edge decentralised identity concepts that increase trust and privacy.
  • You are a creative problem solver, always thinking ahead and spotting risks and opportunities in the market.
  • You have experience in implementing numerous I&AM solutions across the full lifecycle of identity management, privileged access management, governance and administration and identity security technologies such as user and entity behavioural analytics, strong authentication via passwordless approaches and multiple factors of authentication. You will also have a clear position on the importance of identity in today’s threat landscape and be well versed in its role in Zero Trust architecture.
  • You are a leader in the space of I&AM with a deep understanding of the project and solutions lifecycle, designing and estimating solutions that not just meet our clients’ needs, but far exceed their expectations.
  • To supplement the strategic and technical knowledge, solution architect and project delivery experience, you come from a Consulting background with strong customer-facing skills, the ability to understand their requirements and produce high quality written proposals and content.
  • You have a passion for growing your career and those around you. You have strong analytical and critical thinking skills.


Your business skills:


  • Offering development experience including aspects like GTM, capacity & capability development, Sales & Revenue and Pipeline management, tracking and reporting.
  • Networks and Partners with Avanade’s Management Consulting (Advisory) teams, Regional Innovation teams and other Solutions Area teams to pursue what is possible and ensure the best possible outcome for our client’s business
  • Leads and oversees the development of the technical approach and estimation of the Offering and its assets
  • Strong, executive-level communication skills. Operate in a senior advisory capacity to CxOs and their senior leadership.
  • Has a good understanding of 2 or more industries/verticals, demonstrating their organization, systems, challenges, and goals.
  • Understanding of Microsoft’s broader technology eco-system and how it can be used to transform businesses
  • Able to lead stakeholder brainstorming, technical planning, and design sessions.
  • You are an active contributor and facilitator with an important voice.
  • Able to craft and articulate your vision, whether it be for the Offering or a client solution
  • Able to articulate execution strategy through roadmaps and agile planning of delivery against Offeringactivities or solution creation activities.
  • Provide governance and oversight on key projects (2-3 projects at a maximum to maintain client connection and ensure delivery success of key opportunities).
  • Change Enablement: communication and training experience.
  • Well-versed in new technology-enablement and transformation leadership to help clients assess, build, transform and operationalize new capabilities.
  • You are willing and able to travel, potentially across several different clients.

 

Your technical skills:

  • You have a deep and validated understanding of Microsoft I&AM technologies. You will be expected to demonstrate experience and deep expertise across at least 4 of the areas below and to have working knowledge of all of the areas and how they interact:
  • Large and complex Active Directory Architecture
  • Active Directory Security and Hardening and Recovery
  • Azure Active Directory, including premium capabilities across P1 and P2
  • Azure Active Directory modern authentication principles including proven experience of large scale application integrations for SSO and Identity Security benefits.
  • Experience implementing Identity Management tools across the full joiners, mover, leavers lifecycle (i.e. Microsoft Identity Manager, SailPoint, Saviynt, One Identity implementation experience.)
  • Business to Customer identity management (Azure B2C proven experience and thought leadership would be a benefit)
  • Business to Business Identity Management (Azure AD B2B proven experience and thought leadership would be a benefit.)
  • Public and Private Key Infrastructures
  • Decentralised Identity (Microsoft verifiable credentials experience would be a benefit)
  • Role Based Access Control models and experience
  • Privileged Access Management experience
  • Additionally, you can demonstrate knowledge, experience, and hold at least two certifications in any of the following areas:
  • CISSP, CSSP, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Security Certifications
