About the Role:
You will have 5+ years Power BI and Dashboard creation experience.
As an Analytics Power BI Experience Manager, you will design and develop interactive and automated experiences using data and analytics tools and processes. Using emerging and established technologies, the Analytics Experience Consultant will consider and design for both business-driven requirements and optimized and scalable solutions to highlight insights discovered from data. Additionally, this role will play a meaningful role in enabling data discovery of core issues, trends, expected and actual outcomes for humans and machines consuming the data.
Be able to work in a hands-on role & guide high level initiatives and be able to lead should be able to guide the team on all best practices related to PowerBI. Including Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, Report Design, the PBI Tenant, external pbi tools & have a general understanding of the Azure stack.
Day-to-day you will:
· Implement project plans around reporting tools, information dashboards, data visualization, and other end-user information portals or resources.
- Contribute to teams providing technology-based data reporting tools and management for business segments or the company at large.
- Bring expertise in support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations based on company reporting and data needs.
- Advise business groups by providing technical and strategic reports that adhere to industry best practices.
- Identify and work with domain experts to understand data reporting requirements, baselines/targets, and other custom logic regarding business processes necessary to develop accurate and insightful dashboards and reports.
- Generate ad hoc reports and datasets for end-users utilizing system tools and database/data warehouse queries and scripts.
- Develop and maintain production-level reports, information dashboards, data pipelines, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources. May create specifications for reports based on business requests.
- Integrate data from various sources to produce requested or required data elements and build scalable data models.
About You:
You will have 5-7+ years Power BI and Dashboard creation experience or relatable professional experience.
At least 3+ years Management or Lead experience.
Your technical/non-technical skills include:
- Proficiency designing and delivering enterprise level reporting and data governance solutions.
- In-depth knowledge and technical experience building visuals using data tools like Power BI
- Demonstrable professional experience with data mining, analysis, modeling, of large scale, complex data sets
- Advanced proficiency with SQL for the generation and extraction of data for use in analytics and reporting.
- Interpret results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple exploratory data analysis to statistical modeling
- Enduring solutions meet business needs and requirements
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Experience partnering on analytics-related sales pursuits
- Client consulting and project-leadership experience working with third-party clients preferred but not essential
- Experience with Version Control tools like Azure Dev Ops
- In-depth knowledge of Data Warehousing & Data Modeling best practices
- Experience with Power BI External tools like Tabular Editor, ALM Toolkit, Dax Studio, & Vertipaq Analyzer
- Experience implementing data security with RLS & OLS
- Experience with Power BI Admin APIs
Preferred Certifications
- PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst
- DP-500: Designing and Implementing Enterprise-Scale Analytics Solutions Using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Power BI
Education Background:
You likely possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or another relevant field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also suffice.
