About the role:

As a Full-Stack Developer you will focus on crafting, developing, and testing critical enterprise solutions and other custom application development projects.  You will work on a variety of new projects, as well as maintaining existing applications when required and you're happy to share your programming knowledge to support your colleagues.

The application stack includes software to support the front-end user experience, business logic, back-end and database services.  Appropriate use of software design patterns, architectural styles such as microservices are key tools to a full-stack developer.  In a modern-day enterprise, development-wide concerns, such as API Management, cloud-based services, and deployments to a container orchestrator such as Kubernetes are also relevant to full-stack development.  In addition, the ability to operate within an Agile project environment, and a willingness to adapt to different ways of working are essential to being successful within a full-stack development role.

Please note: for this role you need to be eligible to work in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities will entail:

• Build and automate the features and services that model complex business problems and power enterprise-scale systems.
• Design and style with responsive and adaptive approaches to create beautiful and accessible experiences.
• Implement APIs and Microservices, integrating with external systems, including database design, data access and ORMs.
• Develop scalable cloud-based solutions, considering security and performance.
• Harness modern development and DevOps practices including CI/CD, containerization, and automated testing.
• Configure, build, and test the application or technical architecture components, working in a team with other developers, designers, and architects.
• Meet with your team and the client to align on Sprint objectives.

A typical workday for you might look like this:

09:30     Daily scrum

09:45     Developing

11:00      (Virtual) coffee with your buddy

12:00     Team lunch

13:00     Sprint planning

14:00     Pair programming

16:00     Sync with UX design

You will make a difference because:

• You're passionate about the latest technologies in modern web development and have at least 5 years of full-stack development experience.
• You have experience working within IT-consultancy and where you were able to develop your stakeholder management skills
• You have experience with the full .NET stack including C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET and Web API.
• You value high quality, maintainable code using Clean Architecture, SOLID design principles and test-driven development.
• You are personable and driven, looking to join a team of colleagues like you.
• You are eligible to work in The Netherlands.
• You have finished a Bachelor's or Master’s program in the direction of IT or other relevant studies.
