About the Job

The Field Marketing consultant will be working in the Iberia Marketing team supporting the different countries involved (Spain and Portugal).

He or she will be responsible for developing and executing marketing programs, including awareness, relationship building, and demand generation activities, are the primary means through which this accomplished.

This includes planning, developing, and managing regional marketing campaigns and activities that target prospects and current clients to generate new business opportunities, support pipeline growth and assist sales in building client relationships.

Key Responsibilities 

·       Oversees customer-specific programs (e.g., events, campaigns, social media, Executive Briefing Center, 1:1 marketing plans) for long-term relationship building, cross-selling and/or up-selling.

·       +5 years Marketing experience, preferably in IT/ Services industry

·       Build direct business with target prospects, working with sales professionals to identify target accounts and solutions, positioning Avanade as the Microsoft technology consulting leader. professionals to identify target accounts and solutions, positioning Avanade as the Microsoft technology consulting leader.

·       Promotes teamwork and coordination between marketing and different functions/Solution Areas/geographies to promote strategic alignment, message consistency, and budget efficiency

·       Tracks marketing campaign financial and performance effectiveness provides recommendations for action if needed and contributes to knowledge sharing of information with other groups.

Other skills

·       Experience of working in a B2B marketing environment, including working closely with direct and indirect sales teams

·       Experience in various facets of marketing, including brand awareness, web management, demand generation, digital marketing (including advertising, Social, Paid Social), events, PR, direct mail, telemarketing, recruitment and internal communications

·       Experience managing External Agencies

·       Knowledge of localizing and implementing marketing campaigns

·       Successful track record of designing and implementing marketing campaigns targeted at large enterprises

·       Knowledge of specific industry verticals in Spain markets, and experience of PR and copywriting skills will be an advantage

·       Knowledge of Microsoft enterprise technologies, including Microsoft Office

·       Strong project management skills

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Strong organization and time management skills

·       Ability to work under tight deadlines and on several projects simultaneously

·       Advanced experience interacting directly with customers in a marketing capacity is a plus Industry knowledge

·       Knowledge of Microsoft enterprise technologies, including Cloud, ERP, CRM
