About the job: 

Manufacturing has always been complex and today several factors, including changes in customer expectations, have pushed manufacturers to adopt modern technologies to meet their evolving demands. Whether it’s the need to personalize products, find new methods to attract and hire new workers or leverage IoT to drive insights, manufacturers face many challenges as they modernize. 

The Dynamics 365 Manufacturing ERP Solution Architect (Senior Director) will be responsible for providing expertise in selling, shaping, defining, implementing and quality assuring Avanade’s ERP engagements for Manufacturing customers. 

Involved from an early stage of pre-sales, you will be a senior member of the team that leads the client from the presales stage through to successful delivery. Your key accountability will be to take ownership of the solution and its intended benefits from first contact until transition to support. You will provide industry and solution leadership at every stage and will act as a trusted advisor to the client throughout the relationship. Demonstrating your experience in the industry and ability to position the envisioned solution in the (often wider) End-End business context of the client – is key for building that relation of trust.

In a highly visible role, the ERP Solutions Architect for Manufacturing will be a part of our Netherlands ERP Leadership team. As a thought leader, you will evolve existing offerings and solution high value and high complexity deals for our clients, positioning Avanade as an innovative and reliable partner. Reporting to the Netherland’s ERP Lead, and in close cooperation with our global community of ERP experts and Solution Architects, you will envision and design innovative solutions and services for enterprise clients. You will drive cutting edge evolution in their application portfolios!

To be successful in this role you will have the following experience:

• Deep industry experience in Manufacturing
• Experience in operating model and business process assessment / technology alignment (L0 - L5) in Manufacturing industries (Engineering & Production, Construction)
• Experience in Manufacturing ERP Program initiation (ERP strategy, ERP scoping, business value assessment, top-down ROM definition & estimation)
• Understanding of Technology patterns, best practices and tooling in Manufacturing industries and ability to drive a program to standard technology functionality
• Lead the definition of solutions based on MS Dynamics 365 – define engagement outcomes and business benefits, high-level scope, architecture, implementation approach and effort estimates.
• Fulfil the managing architect role on ERP engagements participating in all phases from envisioning and planning through execution and stabilization
• Design the application architecture for integrating between D365 F&O and other applications, including third-party packages and modules 
• Last but not least, you’ll be a first-class client lead and guide colleagues in demanding presales projects
