CRM Pre-Sales Solution Architect

The CRM Team 

Largest CRM team in Canada with over 90 people specialized in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, divided into 2 main role families (Application Development and Business Analyst).  


Your Role:

The Solution Architect is a key role in the pre-sales phase of Dynamics 365 CE solutions within our offering department at the Canada level. The Architect helps business development teams launch and execute Avanade offerings for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.

For Avanade customers, this includes:

In-depth understanding of client business needs and industry trends in order to spark innovative thinking and build trusting relationships with management of existing or new clients.

For these customers you will:

Facilitate workshops and requirements discovery sessions 

Provide qualification expertise to assess clients' business needs and align them with Avanade differentiators

Proactively deliver strategic messages and roadmaps

Create and deliver presentations of innovative solutions on Avanade's offerings (D365 CE and supporting software)

Assess the suitability of the solution in relation to the needs

Transform data into actionable value-based insights (Customer Insights, segmentation, analytics)

Design optimized and streamlined end-to-end customer business processes aligned with D365 capabilities (Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate)

Measure closed-loop performance (Power BI).

Collaborate with the internal business development team as well as local and global resources to develop and execute effective sales strategies.

Evaluate operational value and calculate profitability.

Within Avanade, you will have 2 fundamental functions

Pre-sales and marketing support (70%):

Building trusting relationships and evangelizing Avanade offerings with Accenture, Microsoft, industry groups and clients.

Assessing the suitability of projects in relation to the RFP and RFI requirements grids.

Helping to develop and execute sales and solution development strategies.

Assisting the person responsible for the CRM offer as well as the Canadian marketing department in the development and execution of plans for brand development, thanks to your knowledge of customer recommendations and your market awareness.

Representing Avanade at client and industry relevant events and writing POV documents to create positive exposure for Avanade

Delivery support (30%):

Participating in the design of customer engagements.

           Transferring your knowledge to the internal team and be responsible for the realization of the project after the sales stage in which you will have participated.

Your ideal profile:

Graduate in a field such as computer engineering or business administration.

You have at least 7 years of significant experience in Dynamics CRM.

Working with large clients, whether in pre-sales or the development of customer solutions.

Have already completed 2 full lifecycle of CRM implementations through to delivery.

Being bilingual French/English is a plus.

Technical skills and domain:

Required: Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement

Nice to have: Field Service module, Power Platform, Azure Data Lake, Customer Data Platform.

Certifications in the CRM Team: Any certification of the "Microsoft Dynamics 365" learning path ( MB-910, MB-210, MB-220, MB-230, MB-240, MB-901, MB-920 , PL-900 PL-200) or a related field.

2: Technical interview 1: to draw your profile according to your technical experience and to be able to answer your questions about projects and missions.  

3: Technical interview 2: for additional questions related to your area of expertise and seniority.  

4: Final presentation with the head of the department: to get to know each other, simulate orals and demo presentation and discuss your future role.
