As a CRM Functional Architect, you’ll be considered a learned professional who applies your subject matter expertise to design and implement CRM solutions for our clients across all phases of Avanade’s projects. You will be responsible for working with clients and leading Avanade delivery teams in planning, designing, building, testing, and maintaining CRM solutions. Further, you are likely a great manager with vast CRM experience. You understand the nuts and bolts of CRM systems, and, more importantly, you know how to connect with clients and lead a team to reach its goals. You are organized, energetic, and as comfortable in front of a boardroom as in front of a whiteboard with your team. What you’ll do 

  • Establish Dynamics 365 CE architecture by integrating solutions across functional lines 
  • Support the sales team in crafting deals, with accountability for overall estimates 
  • Recommend the right Dynamics 365 CE solutions for your client's needs 
  • Guide your project team, establishing and tracking achievements, coordinating actions, seeking expert advice, balancing open issues, and contributing to team meetings and reports 
  • Define how we measure business and operations success and validate Dynamics 365 CE system performance 
  • Support clients on CRM standards and prepare them for using their CRM solution by setting training programs and redefining new roles and responsibilities 
  • Grow your network through educational opportunities, reading industry publications, building and maintaining your personal and business networks, and joining professional organizations 


Skills and experiences 

  • Experience leading presales engagements with a Microsoft Partner for potential enterprise clients requiring significant coordination with various internal teams (i.e. sales, finance, technology, etc.)
  • Working with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement as a technical and/or functional leader 
  • Hands-on experience deploying Microsoft Power Platform solutions for customers in a variety of industries 
  • Reviewed team's work across all phases of projects (e.g., Plan, Analyze, Design, Build and Test)   
  • Designed conceptual architecture and functional and/or technical solutions for large complex technology projects in partnership with sales teams
  • At least five full lifecycle implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and/or Dynamics CRM 
  • Experience managing/leading teams both on and offshore
