Belgium Practice Lead Data and AI

As our Practice Lead Data & AI you will lead and grow the Data & AI business for Belgium. Being a thought leader, you will transform and develop the existing capabilities, and position Avanade as an innovator for clients and partners alike. You will effectively partner directly with our Accenture and Microsoft parent companies to achieve all goals.

As Practice Lead Data & AI  you will develop the business strategy, oversee day-to-day operations, ensure quality, and deliver against financial performance metrics. In concert with other specialists and local and regional leadership, you will ensure that Avanade delivers full-spectrum solutions and value for clients and grows this part of Avanade’s business.  You are a well-rounded consulting services professional.  You revel in success, with a leadership track record in developing and growing long-term, high-value client relationships. You are adept at communications, especially with influencing and negotiation capabilities that help you establish and grow solutions with key clients. Internally, you are a great mentor and leader to your team and enjoy advising leadership teams in the development, production, and promotion of solution offerings to grow a business.

Within a Highly Collaborative and Matrixed Organization, you will:

• Drive measurable and sustained growth across Belgium's’ Data & AI solutions & delivery teams.
• Be known for your "client-centric" approach and delivery excellence
• Drive strong projects, Managed Services and multi-year engagements for Data & AI
• Champion differentiated commercial models and outcomes for our clients
• Leverage offshore and near-shore sales, solutioning, and delivery capabilities to produce results with excellence
• Lead with a diverse mindset, Avanade values, and a strong focus on the development of your team and those around you
• Partner with experts and Sales to achieve both strategic and operational targets for growth
• Conduct planning, pipeline development, complex channel management, strategic deal shaping, bid management, and ongoing pre-sales effectiveness program focus

Your business leadership experience likely encompasses:

• Growing a technology services line of business through strategy and sales contribution 
• Establishing a presence in the Belgian market and the minds of key clients through client interactions/leadership 
• Business development and complex channel /stakeholder management
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, especially strong influencing, and negotiation capabilities
• You can attract and recruit top talent, motivate the team, delegate effectively, celebrate diversity within the team and manage performance
• You lead by example and drive the organization’s performance with an attitude of continuous improvement

Specific consulting and delivery experience likely includes:

• Leading with a client-centric approach, growing and leading a large-scale, highly profitable technology services business - preferably with multi-country scope
• Identifying, originating, developing, and delivering multi-year, Data & AI solutions with Managed Services
• Assessing and managing the opportunity and risk associated with large-scale complex services/consulting engagements
• Track record of CxO impact, developing and growing long-term, high-value customer relationships
• Selling, architecting, and building Microsoft centric, preferably industry-focused, solutions
• Awareness of competitive products or solutions in the Data & AI domain and have the ability to explain their differences
• Sales and delivery experience with multi-site, offshore/onshore delivery model
• Knowledge of tools and techniques including data engineering, machine learning, visualization, conversational AI, IoT and intelligent automation (preferable)
• Implementing sales principles and practices, including business development, marketing, and complex channel management
