Job Description

As a D365 Managed Services Consultant - specialising in Microsoft Business Application Technology, you are client-facing and responsible for the definition and collection of requirements through to the build and deployment of the solution. 

This role provides the opportunity to work for the Microsoft® #1 Partner, with an unrivalled focus on development and training in both technology and softer consulting skills, as well as a dedicated career advisor to support you through your career progression. 


Managed Services projects can range from: 

• Change requests (up-to 10 days effort) for analysis, specification, configuration of solution and testing 

• Task Orders (10 - 50 days) for more complex enhancements (that may include code development) for analysis, specification, config / development, testing, support of client testing, go-live support 

• Further phase significant enhancements i.e completely new functionality for existing or new modules to be introduced (50+ days) for analysis, design, development, deployment and operational support 

• Knowledge of the client Solution topology and blueprint, identifying critical integrations to 3rd party solutions and the workings of the full application 

• Impact assessment of functionality for application updates 

• Periodic ‘new feature reviews’ for client following mandatory client updates 

• Understanding of client business processes and streamlining to available solution functionality where available and required 

• Support of client solution for ‘niche’ application processes to the assist support team where P1 / P2 cases occur


About you: 

·       Finance/SCM/Manufacturing industry background. 

·       In depth Microsoft Business Application technology product knowledge

·       1-3 years’ experience with D365 F&O/F&SCM Business Application technology focused on Finance, SCM or Manufacturing

·       Possess sound consulting skills with 1-3 years client facing experience with an implementation partner. 

·       Strong requirements gathering skills with demonstrable experience. 

·       Able to learn and adapt to Avanade delivery tools and methodology. 

·       Excellent presentation, written and verbal English. 

·       Results oriented and self-motivated to deliver with excellence. 

·       Client centric attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  

·       Passion for learning and development. 

·       Strong time management skills.
