You'll be responsible for developing, maintaining, and evolving a comprehensive and professional team to enhance the service delivered to all clients supported by the team.


Your experience and knowledge of D365 F&O/F&SCM solutions and associated business processes combined with an appreciation of associated technologies are imperative in providing a speedy and effective support service to Avanade's clients.


What you’ll be doing:

This is a varied and demanding role with opportunities to grow and develop your consulting skills by being involved all aspects of supporting varied Microsoft based solutions developed and implemented for clients. Your involvement with clients may include off-site and on-site work and you will be encouraged to develop your overall knowledge and achieve relevant certifications.

  • To facilitate the successful installation and maintenance of our client’s software systems, including off site and on site work. You will be encouraged and expected to develop your professional technical and consulting skills.
  • Respond to support tickets coming in via the portal, email and telephone calls communications professionally and knowledgeably
  • Log incoming requests accurately and completely ensuring all necessary information is captured in Avanade’s online support tool
  • Take ownership for requests and manage their lifecycle through to closure involving other resources as required 
  • Ensure that the client is informed as to the progress of the request in-line with the agreed communications plan and Service Levels
  • Assign requests to Third Parties or resources outside of the support function where requests are outside the skills of the team retaining ownership of the request ensuring it is appropriately managed through to closure
  • Ensure requests are managed to required quality, priority and agreed Service Levels
  • Escalate issues and potential breaches to Team Leads, Client Leads and management in-line with defined processes
  • Undertake regular audits of requests to ensure that the correct level of service is being provided and that information and knowledge is accurately maintained
  • Provide service reports, responses to queries in a timely manner as per agreed processes
  • Implementation planning and the delivery of value added work, to scope and budget
  • Business and systems analysis and documentation
  • Product design and gap analysis to standard product functionality
  • Application configuration and setup
  • Provide system training to both internal and external clients
  • Design and execution of data migration strategies
  • Go-live and post-live support

Who you are

  • You’ll ideally have a minimum of AX 2012/D365 F&O certifications in Finance, Trade and Logistics or Supply Chain.
  • Previous experience in a Dynamics 365 Consulting or Support Consultant role.
  • Commercial awareness and total dedication to delivering maximum return on investment for clients
