Job Description

As a Senior Finance and Operations (F&O) Solution Architect, you’ll be responsible for providing expert contribution to our regional businesses at different stages of the project lifecycle and contribute to global initiatives, led by the CoE. 

You’ll partner closely with the Regional Solution Area/Offering Leads and their teams to provide assistance or lead workstreams involving anything from pre-sale, customer presentations, RFP responses, QA reviews, to critical delivery phases when a region needs the highest expertise level on the D365 F&O solution. Partnering with Regional SA Lead and Talent Community Lead is critical – together you’ll understand the resourcing and skill needs to maintain effective business operations, achieve project outcomes, and with Avanade’s Global Delivery Network (GDN) as needed, to prepare our organization for market changes. 

You will also have a cross geography role designing the overall D365 F&O Go-To-Market, solutioning deals, providing Architecture design or best practices guidelines, and promoting their application across the Growth Markets but focused on Japan and our Asian businesses.

You excel at leveraging your interpersonal and communication skills, especially influencing and negotiation, to help you establish, develop and deliver solutions with key clients. 

Internally, you enjoy working across the business, engaging and educating leadership teams in the development, production, and promotion of solution offerings to grow a technology services line of business. 

This role requires an in-depth knowledge and understanding on working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

In addition, your professional skillset likely includes: 
  • Ability to effectively team with peers in a large, matrixed organizations, including significant experience with offshore teams and delivery.
  • Experience delivering solutions for client organizations through complex solutions / projects with heavy client interaction.
  • Able to assist in "make or buy" decision processes. 

You may have a Bachelor's degree in Business or technology-related field but qualification by experience is also well – we’re interested in seeing progressive career growth and a track record in driving and delivering business growth. You’ll be excited to share your experience leading a relevant technology business /service line in roles that encompass solutions sales, creation, delivery and business management and cross-business engagement. Experience leading and developing teams/people, both directly and indirectly accountable to you is essential.

To aid your impact and integration into our Japan business, you'll need a combination of fluent English and ideally, a minimum of N3 Japanese.
