Region Business Operations Manager

 

Role Overview

 

As the Region Business Operations Manager

  • You will be responsible for the development and execution of programs and processes required to support our region business operations strategic initiatives.  
  • You will provide business related operational support and co-ordination to define and drive critical business processes and including planning, operations, and strategy implementation. 
  • You will be responsible for managing complex daily operations, defining appropriate programs, planning and sourcing to meet current and future business needs.
  • Your stakeholders will cover key internal stakeholders with great exposure to a range of business issues and challenges.  
  • You will be able to develop strong working relationships across our region and broader Growth Markets geography.   
  • A strong problem solver, analytical as well as have strong competence in operations.
  • Candidate needs to be energetic, driven and a self-starter and will relish being in a fast-paced environment and have a thirst for knowledge and challenges
 

Key Role Responsibilities

 

Day-to-day

  • Act as a point of contact within and outside team to ensure connection and integration of team members.
  • Provide coordination and communication with appropriate teams to ensure initiatives meet schedule, budget, and quality commitments
  • Track, measure, report, and communicate Workforce Planning related program investments, performance issues, and risks.
  • Produce and review project status reports and action item logs to identify issues; address risks and concerns directly with project stakeholders or action item assignees or raise them to the attention of senior management for further direction.
  • Provide continuous improvement to processes, tools, metrics, and training based on ongoing experience, process metrics, and feedback from other stakeholders, to drive further efficiencies in the organization
  • Support the standard management reporting processes and metrics by creating templates, role aids, and other materials and produce reporting packages as required
  • Attend key stakeholder meetings and contribute ideas and approaches
  • Manage the goals, objectives, overall performance, and budget of assigned projects and teams-Take on critical roles as needed
 

Key Role Skill & Capability Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of the business cycle, including budgeting­ possess great organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate information to multiple stakeholders-
  • Experience in program/project management and/or consulting
  • Extensive experience in operations management
  • Advanced MS Office skills

  • You will be able to communicate proficiently in both Japanese and English - mandatory requirement.

 

Preferred Education Background:

You likely possess a bachelor’s degree or have an equivalent combination of education and experience
