Business Intelligence Consultant (Power BI)

We are currently hiring Business Intelligence Consultant. 

About the role: 

As a Business Intelligence Consultant, you have an in-depth knowledge of the importance of data for business. You will help customers gain a competitive advantage by transforming information into accessible and accurate analyzes, to effectively support the decision-making process. 

This role will involve the design of hypothesis and analysis approaches, model formulation, programing required for analysis, model building and interpretation of how to use the data and models created to guide impactful and actionable business-decisions.

Day-to-day you will: 

• Cooperate with business and other departments to collect and analyze requirements necessary to develop intuitive and practical end to end solutions
• Develop data sets in PowerBI, perform visualization in the most intuitive way using PowerBI
• Implement reports and interactive navigated dashboards in PowerBI
• Prepare statistics, reports and ad hoc analyzes
• Development of Power BI management procedures guidelines in the administrative area in order to continuously improve the service
• Technical documentation of solutions
• Optional: design and implementation of ETL processes, and data model; data analysis and Standarization

Qualifications: 

• Fluent Polish and English, both verbal and written
• Experience with following languages: Python, SQL, DAX, M
• Experience with reporting and data visualization tools, specifically PowerBI 
• Database modeling principles and techniques
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience in multidimensional and / or tabular models (SSAS)
• Engineer's degree

Skills we consider as an asset: 

• Coding experience: Python, C#, Java for Data analysis purpose
• One of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified - Data Analyst Associate, MCSA - BI Reporting 
• Knowledge of some of the main components of Azure Analytics: Azure Data Processing Technologies (DataFactory, DataBricks), Azure Big Data Technologies, Databricks, Synapse
