Senior UX Designer

As a senior member of the Experience Design team, you will extend your knowledge of human-centred design to various work streams. You will apply your skills to client interactions and daily operations, and advocate for the best design practices with the user in mind. You likely have 4+ years' experience in the industry.
We’re looking for an excellent communicator. From writing to presenting to design deliverables, your ability to articulate your ideas and affect change is a crucial part of role.
You will transform business requirements into meaningful designs that will positively impact our clients and their customers. Day-to-day, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve user problems and meet business goals.
You are interested in contributing to the larger experience design practice at Avanade through growing yourself, learning new skills, and advancing the team.
• Proficiency in design tools including Sketch, InVision, Adobe XD, and Figma for production and prototyping
• Strategize on the architecture and organization of a product
• Turn high-level requirements and user stories into wireframes
• Articulate wireframes with contextual and functional annotations
• Produce UX deliverables, including user flows, journey maps, personas
• Plan and execute research initiatives, including user interviews, usability testing, and reports
• An understanding of visual design principles, including typography, layout, and colour theory
