Job Description

Reporting to the UKI Marketing Lead, the UKI Marketing Consultant will be a core role within the UKI Marketing team.

The Field Marketer will be responsible for planning and implementing regional marketing campaigns and activities that target prospective and current clients to generate new business opportunities, support pipeline growth, assist sales in building new client relationships and retaining existing client relationships.

The role’s primary focus will be developing and executing Avanade UKI’s marketing strategy to drive growth in our Data & AI solutions area. However, the role remains generalist and the solution area focus may change with business demand.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement local, multi-tactic marketing campaigns to drive market awareness, lead generation, client engagement and retention for Avanade including social, digital, events, email marketing, telemarketing and account-centric activities.
  • Partner with Accenture, Microsoft and additional strategic partners to drive joint go-to-market programs for Data & AI solution area.
  • Drive customer evidence process by working with the Business owners and Sales teams to identify new wins, public references and case studies.
  • Plan, execute and optimise digital marketing activity in UK & Ireland including online and social advertising, website optimisation for regional web pages & email marketing campaigns.
  • Own and manage regional social media channels to drive engagement with our employees, partners and alliances, clients and prospect clients.
  • Work closely with the regional Field Marketing team and be a proactive member of the global marketing talent community (MTC), sharing best practices and new digital innovations.
  • Work with the Regional Marketing lead to define metrics and analyse them to track marketing campaign effectiveness and recommend strategy adjustment where necessary.

Marketing Operations:

  • Marketing performance reporting
  • Liaise with outside vendors related to events and other programme tasks
  • Utilise Marketing insight and analytics tools, automation
  • Marketing lead management in Marketo and CRM

Experience Profile:

  • 3+ years Marketing experience, preferably in IT/Professional service industry or related B2B.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Knowledge of developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns in a B2B environment.
  • Strong social and digital marketing skills
  • Data and analytics
  • Event management experience
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Experience of partnering closely with Sales
  • Experience interacting directly with clients in a marketing capacity
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and on several projects simultaneously
  • Self-motivated; ability to take ownership for assigned projects; ability to work independently and with a team
  • Knowledge of Microsoft enterprise technologies, including Microsoft Office
  • Some knowledge of consulting services industry a very strong plus
