We are currently seeking an executive leader as we look to continue to grow our Polish business. In this highly visible and newly created role, you will lead our Poland subsidiary and you will be responsible for the success of our growth strategy - overseeing all aspects of the business. As Poland establishes itself as a center of technology in Europe, with the increased presence of technology powerhouses, such as the recent Microsoft investment, the qualified executive will lead a fast growth trajectory! Avanade Poland, along with Microsoft and Accenture will be able to provide our clients and strong local partner ecosystem in Poland access to world-class digital technology and innovative cloud solutions! You will lead the skilling, digital transformation support, and building of a global-scale and trusted cloud region in Poland for our clients! As a thought leader, you will establish and develop the existing capabilities, positioning Avanade as an innovator for clients and partners alike.


This is a startup environment, existing within an established and global business, and requires a strong background of proven success building and growing technology focused businesses in the Polish Market. As the head of our business in Poland you will play a strategic role in the Europe Leadership team and be an active member of the Accenture Poland Leadership Team. You will work closely with Accenture and Microsoft to purposefully grow our market share in the Microsoft Eco-system


Poland Country Manager Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Country, Area, and Global Leadership team to implement a strategy that drives origination and sales across our portfolio of offerings
  • Represent Avanade in the Polish market, networking with customer and ecosystem partners
  • Drive measurable results with confirmed YoY double-digit revenue growth in the Polish Market
  • Build, leverage and maintain successful industry partnerships in a methodical and collaborative model
  • Serve as an executive sponsor across a diverse client portfolio
  • Grow your leadership team, nurturing a balanced and diverse group of staff
  • Recruit the very best talent in the market
  • Lead the team in driving the shaping and capturing of large-scale opportunities
  • Identify, secure funding for, and execute investments needed to enhance the pipeline, client portfolio, capabilities and positively impact sales and revenue growth
  • Find and grow new and existing opportunities within the construct of Avanade's business development model


 Within a highly collaborative and global organization, you will:

  • Act as an entrepreneur, building and growing a newly created Polish based business that will work within our current and already successful and established construct
  • Be known for your "client-centric" approach and delivery excellence
  • Champion differentiated commercial models and outcomes for our clients
  • Leverage offshore and near-shore sales, solutions, and delivery capabilities to produce results with excellence
  • Lead with a diverse mindset, Avanade Values, and a strong focus on the development of your team and those around you
  • Conduct territory planning, pipeline development, complex channel management, strategic deal shaping, bid management, and on-going pre-sales effectiveness program focus

Proven track record of experience in the following:

  • Leading with a client centric approach
  • A proven track record of growing a technology  focused business within the Polish market
  • Deep Microsoft ecosystem knowledge and relations
  • Growing and leading a large scale, highly profitable technology services business
  • Career Focus on technology business leadership: partnering with Fortune 1000 clients to optimize workplace technologies and physical environments to increase productivity and collaboration to continuously improve employee experience
  • Collaborating in a borderless Global Practice leveraging skills and capabilities for sales and delivery from across the world, and heavily engaging Global Delivery capabilities
  • Focus on driving and growing the business through successful initiatives and strategy
  • Assessing and managing the opportunity and risk associated with large scale complex services/consulting engagements
  • Track record of CxO impact, developing and growing long term, high value customer relationships
  • Selling, architecting, and building industry focused solutions with multi-site, offshore/onshore delivery models
  • Knowledge of industry relevant tools and techniques to achieve positive business results
  • Implementing sales principles and practices, including business development, marketing, and complex channel management
