Job Description

As an Executive within Avanade and the Modern Workplace Global Solution Area Lead – Growth Markets, you will be responsible for all aspects of our Digital Workplace and Workplace Experience business.  You will be a strategic business leader and key member of the Global Solution Areas (GSA) and Growth Markets Leadership Teams. Reporting directly to the Global Modern Workplace Solution Areas Leader, you will lead and grow the Modern Workplace business across Growth Markets. You will leverage an innovative and entrepreneurial approach to achieve performance targets and establish Avanade as a leader in Workplace Transformation and Managed Services.


As a thought leader, you will transform and develop the existing capabilities, positioning Avanade as an innovator for customers and partners alike. You will effectively partner directly with our Accenture and Microsoft parent companies to achieve possible business outcomes.

  • Drive measurable and sustained growth across Growth Market’s Modern Workplace Solution Area
  • Deliver best in class solutions that drive positive employee experiences and increase productivity and employee engagement
  • Solve our clients Modern Workplace business challenges by identifying, designing, and implementing Microsoft solutions
  • Be known for your "client-centric" approach and delivery excellence
  • Champion differentiated commercial models and outcomes for our clients
  • Leverage offshore and near-shore sales, solutions, and delivery capabilities to produce results with excellence
  • Lead with a diverse mindset, Avanade Values, and a strong focus on the development of your team and those around you
  • Partner with Global/Regional Executives and Regional Sales Leads to achieve both strategic and operational targets for growth
  • Conduct territory planning, pipeline development, complex channel management, strategic deal shaping, bid management, and on-going pre-sales effectiveness program focus

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:

Client-focused and have extensive expertise borne of a technology services environment.  You have experience leveraging large-scale systems integrations, consulting services, and/or managed services to successful business outcomes.  You are a passionate and impactful Modern Workplace Evangelist and have a background of experience in outcome-based and value-driven leadership. You are ready to embrace and innovate in the “new normal”.

Background of Experience

  • Leading with a client centric approach
  • Growing and leading a large scale, highly profitable technology services business, preferably with multi-country scope
  • Career Focus on Workplace Modernization: partnering with Fortune 1000 clients to optimize workplace technologies and physical environments to increase productivity and collaboration to continuously improve employee experience and operations
  • Understanding key partners in the Modern Workplace field such as Akumina, Coveo, K2, Nintex, Quest/Metalogix, Sitecore, Blue Prism, etc.
  • Identifying, originating, developing, and delivering multi-year, Modern Workplace solutions
  • Collaborating in a borderless Global Practice leveraging skills and capabilities for sales and delivery from across the world, and heavily engaging Global Delivery capabilities
  • Focus on Workplace Modernization: partnering with Fortune 1000 clients to optimize workplace technologies and physical environments to increase productivity and collaboration to continuously improve employee experience and operations
  • Assessing and managing the opportunity and risk associated with large scale complex services/consulting engagements
  • Track record of CxO impact, developing and growing long term, high value customer relationships
  • Selling, architecting, and building industry focused solutions with multi-site, offshore/onshore delivery models
  • Knowledge of industry relevant tools and techniques to achieve positive business results
  • Implementing sales principles and practices, including business development, marketing, and complex channel management
