IT Collaboration Delivery Specialist

Avanade is growing and seeking an IT Collaboration Delivery Specialist. 

The high-level responsibilities of the IT Collaboration Delivery Specialist include:

• Building strong partnerships and relationships with key business stakeholders with needs for IT solutions within Avanade

• Working with shared Design, Architecture & Development teams

• Designing and delivering IT software solutions leveraging Microsoft and other platforms/capabilities

• Documenting strong quality business requirements and PBIs (product backlog items)

• Working with business stakeholders to align on priorities, plan and deliver end to end solutions including design, development, testing, change management and adoption

• Manage project delivery costs and ensure alignment to approved budgets and agreed outcomes

• Define and collect the measurements that gauge the success of given IT projects and solutions

• Delivering Projects to meet business needs and enable business outcomes, leveraging existing platforms and Microsoft capabilities and services with heavy focus on capabilities such as SharePoint & Teams.

• Establishing and maintaining close working relationships with stakeholders/users and delivery partners sometimes including Global Delivery Network teams and vendors

• Providing guidance to junior team members, helping them to develop and grow their skills and experiences, as well as support their overall career goals and objectives.

• Defining criteria for project success with appropriate stakeholders, monitoring performance via metrics, issues, risks and scope changes, and providing a summary of overall performance with Business and IT stakeholders on a regular basis.

• Identifying, logging, monitoring, escalating and communicating issues/risks, ensuring timely assignment and resolution

You have 5+ years working in IT project delivery including full lifecycle software development including requirements gathering, and business analysis through testing. You likely have a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, business or technology-related field preferred. You have experience with Microsoft technologies (O365, Power Platform, Azure) and custom application project delivery. You are results oriented and self-directed with the ability to drive change.

Required Skills & Experience:

• IT project delivery experience using software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)

• Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform and/or custom application project delivery

• Experience working with multiple disciplines to deliver work including stakeholders, users, design, architecture, engineering

• Savvy analytic and problem-solving skills 

• Willing to get hands on when necessary to ensure quality requirements, designs, testing and delivery

• Experience identifying and resolving issues 

• Possess a customer service orientation with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations 

• Consistent delivery and follow through on commitments 

• Great organizational skills with attention to detail  

• Ability to effectively communicate information to both technical and non-technical with stakeholders

• Agile and/or Project Manager certification a plus

• Microsoft M365 (including SharePoint/Collaboration platform) certification a plus

Your technical skill set likely includes the following: 

• Experience in business analysis and requirements gathering and management

• Experience with Collaboration capabilities (ideally Microsoft O365 at a minimum)
