Client Innovation Services Lead

About the job 

·        Partner with client account teams to understand the client opportunity and curate        bespoke innovation service bundles/plans/agendas

·    Inspire clients’ hearts and engage minds to convey complex ideas simply and effectively across the innovation architecture

·    Responsible for the overall design of innovation plans and activities for select accounts, working in partnership with the region to get to the right fidelity and tailored transformation/innovation plans. To do this, you understand the needs, objectives challenges and aspirations of the client


·    You are the custodian of a set of services and activities that we provide to select accounts to gain better insights, grow from within, and foster longer term client relationships


·   Evangelize innovation through Avanade’s Innovation Architecture, and know that innovation can only thrive if democratized across the organization


As Client Innovation Services Lead, you will engage heavily with an ecosystem of stakeholders to infuse innovation methodologies into select client accounts to build stronger relationships and extend the portfolio of initiatives with the client. You’ll work with leadership to define the portfolio and serve as an orchestrator that guides and plans innovation activities/services provided by practitioners in Advisory, Innovation, Studios, Sales and Account teams, and Global Solution Area Leads, to help grow accounts. You’ll also build relationships with partners at Microsoft, Accenture and beyond, to extend our innovation ecosystem and network for the purpose of client success. To do this, you will need to connect to regional account teams – to see what works, what resonates, and be flexible enough to pivot your plan and adjust accordingly. You can articulate the whyhow and when to apply innovation methodologies to foster a growth mindset and culture.


Day-to-day, you will: 


·         Work with leadership to understand the high priority clients by area and region and determine target clients for growth through innovation

·         Work with global and regional leadership teams to create and curate our client-centric innovation agendas and proposals to enable client success and growth culture

·         Serve as an ‘innovation coach’ to the client account team and infuse innovation-led selling to account planning and strategy

·         Partner closely with regional account teams and RILs to socialize the proposal and activate the right SMEs and stakeholders to execute the plan. 

·         Build deep relationships and execute on the client strategy and develop relationships with key leadership roles.

·         Be the champion of Avanade’s Innovation Architecture across global and regional teams and the wider Avanade network

·         Track and monitor innovation activities by priority client, industry, segment and report back on activities and KPIs

·         Stay up to date on relevant topics/trends – gathering insights and inputs from Em Tech, Industry, and Global Solution Areas to amplify Avanade-specific solutions

·         Tell compelling stories – develop and deliver compelling messages for how a project or activity adds value


Your Skills


You think a few steps ahead of others but communicate well enough to bring everyone along the same journey. You enjoy influencing and negotiating in ways that help you formulate and grow solutions with key clients, as well as advising internal teams in the development, production, and promotion of innovative services, business models, and products. You possess a bachelor’s degree in business or a technology-related field, with an advanced degree or MBA preferred. 


Your skills likely include: 


·         Experience with sales principles and practices, including business development, marketing, and complex channel management 

·         Ability to effectively team with peers and executives in a large, matrixed organization

·         Ability to persuade and influence executives around proposals and plans that are critical to client success

·         Strong consulting and program-based background, including assessing and managing the opportunity and risk associated with large scale, complex projects 

·         Polished persuasive writing and public speaking skills to help you advance an idea or key messages

·         Demonstrates collaborative knowledge-sharing and recognizes collaborative behaviors

·         Guides others in clarifying complex or ambiguous issues and helps them be at ease with ambiguity
