THE ROLE

As a Talent Acquisition Lead - SEA, you are responsible for daily operation activities in your assigned function or territory. You will be responsible for managing complex daily operations, defining appropriate programs, planning and sourcing to meet current and future business needs. Your responsibilities will likely span multiple concurrent projects.  Additionally, you will also serve as a Career Advisor and lead teams working on medium size projects.

With local influence and supported by your TA Area Lead, you will translate high-level strategy into something our team is inspired to deliver. You’ll also play an essential role in guiding HR leaders to advance their recruiting and integration practice and improve performance.

Responsibilities include


·       Oversee recruitment operations for one or more assigned groups 

·       Create and implement innovative recruiting strategies, programs, and initiatives to meet our growth objectives and business strategies

·       Provide thought leadership to design and development of talent acquisition programs, operations and drives continued improvement 

·       Apply best practices of the industry to help build and support Avanade's talent acquisition function 

·       Work with leaders and HR to understand the business needs across the Company and implement appropriate talent acquisition plans. 

·       Collaborate with global, regional recruitment and HR leaders to understand business needs and implement key programs that drive group success 

·       As the functional lead, build and establish a strategic partnership and alignment with the respective group leaders. 

·       Refine our recruiting processes to ensure our candidate experience is always outstanding

·       Ensure Avanade is known across the region as an employer of choice

·       Mentor and coach your team

·       Manage budgets and analyse recruitment metrics to identify ways to enhance performance

·       Design innovative, scalable sourcing and recruiting strategies that enable Avanade’s future growth, hiring for potential and Diversity targets.

·       Advise Global and local Leadership, TA /HR Leadership, Diversity Councils and Employee Networks on best practice via market insights, trends and leveraging knowledge, data, and competitive intelligence

·       Participate in HR regional and/or HR global leadership strategic initiatives as needed and be a project lead or a driver for Talent related initiatives. 

·       Provide monthly and quarterly recruitment metrics and scorecards to respective regional leadership as well as to HR global leadership. 



YOUR SKILLS

You probably have a bachelor's degree in HR, Business or Psychology, although we’ll also consider equivalent work experience. You also have more than ten years in recruiting with five years' experience leading people and teams and working in an operations-related capacity.

What you might bring with you to this role includes:

  • Experience working within a global company and influencing senior key decision makers
  • Expert knowledge of general recruiting principles, practices; demonstrated experience in developing strategic recruiting plans 
  • Developing and implementing strategic recruiting methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of TA technologies and tools
  • Leading and mentoring an awesome recruitment team
  • Managing partnerships with Recruitment Agencies and other key suppliers
  • Experience in identifying challenges and navigating your way through this to overcome it.
  • Ability to see the “bigger” picture from a business perspective and how TA can be involved
  • Demonstrated results in improving the end-to-end recruitment process – driving efficiency, impact and hiring experience.
  • Excellent communicator, facilitator, and presenter
  • The ability to persevere in the face of challenges
  • Works at pace, under pressure and can join dots quickly to solve complex problems
  • Multi-National and/or multi-cultural experience
