Job Description

As a Production Support Developer, you’ll troubleshoot and resolve reported functionality and performance defects within a large scale supported set of applications. You’ll lead incident management and operational support activities within a team, while performing application configuration and content deployments to systems as required.

 

Day-to-day, you will:

·        Scope out and develop new features and enhancements with a previously built and supported application to meet our clients ongoing needs

·        Prioritize and manage ticket escalation, meeting the required deadlines for ticket response and resolution

·        Investigate and triage incidents according to a defined incident management process

·        Oversee all aspects of a production environment to ensure key metrics and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are being adhered to

·        Travel, as needed.

Your background likely includes:

·        Foundational skills in Object Oriented Programming and database skills

·        Hands-on experience working with large scale production environments with minimal downtime

·        Development experience with some or all of the following technologies: C#/.NET, Active Server Pages (ASP).NET, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Structured Query Language (SQL) Server, Java, SharePoint and Web Technologies (Extensible Markup Language (XML)/JavaScript/ Asynchronous Javascript And Xml (AJAX))

·        Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex system and application issues.

You have college diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field with 1-3 or more years of experience working in an application support or development role.
