In this role, you will be responsible for both the day-to-day coordination of recruiting within the Nordics and hands on hiring for experienced Technical and Senior Business profiles. Working alongside our hiring managers, you will discover the next generation of people who will take Avanade to new heights. You will lead a team of Talent Recruiters and matrix run offshore support resources in our share services centre in Bucharest.

You will be passionate about sourcing and attracting talent to meet current and future business needs, using a variety of media and events to find the brightest and the best. As our front line to building a successful business, you are the face of our brand in the market, bringing the Avanade story to life in an authentic and personal way for candidates. You’ll work with HR and external suppliers to make sure our recruiting processes are efficient and effective.

Internally, you will provide leadership support and mentorship on recruitment matters, and develop our recruitment performance against plan.

About You

We’re looking for someone with has previous experience in a similar role ideally in the technology space. We want to know about your experiences and how you’d go about identifying and recruiting future Avanade people. We’d like to understand how creative thinking helped change how you and those around you work. As a technology company, we’d enjoy learning how technology has transformed the way you operate, or how you’ve made it a central pillar of your work life.

Above all, we want to know how good you are at communicating with others. You’ll need extraordinary presentation and storytelling skills, as well as an ability to look beyond the surface to see the true potential in someone. After all, it’s people that make us.

Required Experience:

  • Highly knowledgeable of general recruiting principles, practices; proven experience in developing strategic recruiting plans
  • Understands the Nordics Technology Talent Market
  • Displays capability for creative, non-routine sourcing and candidate experience strategies
  • Excellent presentation, communication, active listening and story-telling skills
  • Great at building and managing relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Experience improving end-to-end recruiting processes and programs
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in an environment recruiting applicants with "hot" (tech) skills highly valued
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and solutions
  • Developed skills in negotiation, persuasions research
  • Experience acting as direct partner to senior leadership
  • Experience working in a matrixed, collaborative environment, particularly collaborating
  • Certification in behavioral interviewing is a plus.
