Job Description

As a Service Delivery Manager (Applications) you are one of the most important persons to nurture the long-term relationship between our customers and Avanade.  


Once our project team has implemented an application or system, you are responsible for the consecutive management of this application and its broader landscape, including connected applications and possibly the infrastructure. 


You will be the daily representation of Avanade towards the customer, linking the customers challenges and problems, to our support and delivery capabilities. Customer enablement and satisfaction is your key concern. You will balance between the very concrete handling of incidents of different kinds and proposing innovative optimisations and changes to evolve our business. 


More in detail you will be involved with the following: 

  • Daily follow up and contact with the customer regarding the application; 

  • Identification of customers’ needs and opportunities; 

  • Development of the road map for the relevant IT landscapes together with the customer; 

  • Organize service delivery and service improvement; 

  • Follow-up and planning on incidents, problems and changes; 

  • Set up and management of budgets and actuals; 

  • Resource planning of the shared service team for your assigned customers. 



  • Open and trustful leader who works transparently with team and clients; 

  • Communicative team player who can motivate teams and individuals; 

  • Entrepreneur driven to provide your customers with a perfect service. 


  • Higher degree in IT, business or other relevant background, with at least 5 years of relevant working experience;  

  • Experience as a project manager/service manager preferably using Agile methodologies 

  • Knowledge of ERP package(s) and experience in translating Business Requirements to ICT requirements. Functional and/or technical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics365 F&O or previous versions is a strong plus; 

  • Understanding of modern IT-landscapes; 

  • ITIL certification is an asset; 

  • Language skills: native Dutch, professional knowledge of French and English.
