About the opportunity
This role sits within our Analytics Talent Community. As an Azure Data Engineer at Avanade, you will use comprehensive modern data engineer techniques and methods with Advanced Analytics to support business decisions for Avanade clients. With the agility and energy of a company backed by the resources of Accenture and Microsoft you’ll collaborate with a team of people who thrive on turning ideas and innovations into breakthrough results for leading organizations around the globe.   • You’re a data designer who knows how to find, store, and present a range of information from different sources so that everyone can access what they need quickly and simply, and use it effectively.

  • You will continuously developing new leading-edge technical and soft skills - up to 80 hours of training per year
  • You will have experience with accessing exclusive training materials from Avanade, Microsoft, Accenture, and many other Avanade partners such as Databricks, Profisee, etc.

What technical skills are we interested in you having? 
  • You're highly experienced with Azure Data Engineering (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Gen2, Azure SQL Database, etc.)
  • You will have an understanding of Azure Databricks Data Engineering
  • You will have knowledge on Azure IoT
  • You're familiar with Azure Digital Twin
  • You will also have experience with CosmosDB & Neo4J

What we’re interested in you having (Non technical)
  • You will have good Consulting skills (communication skills, presentation skills, stakeholder management, etc.)
  • You will have experience with Delivery Management
  • You understand Design Thinking
  • You are familiar with DevOps & Agile
  • You have Pre-Sales experience
