As a DevOps Engineer within our Software Engineering practice, you’ll have the opportunity to operate at the forefront of technology, working with some of the best clients in the world, helping to solve some of their most challenging problems. What you will love doing
As a DevOps Engineer within our Software Engineering practice, you will focus on cloud, hybrid and on-premise DevOps toolsets. You will work with our clients to provide relentless development, build & deployment automation. You will apply your expertise in advising clients and designing systems to support customer needs. This role also assists with customer relationships, proposing technical resolutions and system automation.

- Be part of a very collaborative team of highly skilled consultants who share a passion for Microsoft technology and development.
- You will have access to all the newest technologies and services within the Microsoft stack.
- Be part of the development team onshore sometimes working with offshore delivery centres
- Tenaciously champion core DevOps behaviours like collaboration, communication, and ownership
- Work with development, quality assurance, and infrastructure team members to build an effective continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline.
- Share best practices for build and deployment across several technologies (Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise)
- Drive the team’s triaging capability by taking on challenging problems not understood by front-line support teams.
- Collaborate and communicate with customers and colleagues in the projects to ensure the delivery of quality solutions.
- You will work with some of the absolute best Microsoft consultants in the industry in Australia and our global community
- Experience in Microsoft clouds and platforms
- Experience in configuring/administering CI/CD for Azure DevOps or GitHub Enterprise
- Scripting in languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or JavaScript
- Proficient with git and enterprise branching strategies
- Experience with enterprise-level software delivery and release management practices
- Experience with micro-services or cloud-based architectures for web or mobile applications
- Experience with securing DevOps and applications with Azure Key Vault, Azure Active Directory
- Experience/Exposure on DevOps oriented security approaches (DevSecOps)
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g. C#, Java, etc.)
- Experience in containerisation with Azure Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, etc.
- Experience in Authoring custom pipeline tasks for Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code such as Azure ARM Templates, Terraform, Ansible
- Experience in Code quality and security tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Fortify
- Experience/Strong Knowledge with artifact repositories, such as Artifactory, Nexus, and Monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Splunk
- Experience with collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence
