Digital Marketing – Marketing Analytics Lead
The Digital team work closely with Avanade’s enterprise clients to design and deploy customer centric solutions that focus on improving customer experience across pre-sales (Digital Marketing), sale and service (CRM) at every touchpoint. 

Our engagements employ leading digital experience, industry trends, customer-journey mapping, organisational assessments and other techniques to deliver high-impact recommendations. Implementing scalable technology platforms and solutions is a major part of enabling desired digital experiences.

The Marketing Analytics lead will deliver solutions to our clients in the Marketing Execution area. Activities will include conducting discovery, documentation and instrumentation engagements around web analytics, personalisation and tag management.

You will have hands on experience with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, and combine your quantitative analysis skills with the more qualitative side in order identify opportunities for performance improvement.

This is a European role. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams of digital strategists, experience designers and experience technologists. You will have experience of delivering CX initiatives utilising design led and agile methodologies, with strong understanding of marketing technologies, digital experience and customer engagement platforms (e.g., Adobe Marketing Cloud, and Microsoft Dynamics365 CRM,). 

Your day-to-day tasks.
  • Lead marketing analytics engagements with our clients including discovery, documentation, instrumentation, and mentoring.
  • Support our clients by collecting digital metrics from their websites, social platforms, and mobile footprints, working with the team to analyse findings and make specific recommendations based on the information.
  • Collect, compile, mine, and synthesize data to help our clients develop and understand KPIs and other thresholds for success.
  • Develop data-driven strategies to support digital growth planning and the creation of decision-support systems that demonstrate digital effectiveness.
  • Support leading edge data analytics techniques and measurement solutions to demonstrate value and effectiveness of digital activities and achieve ROI goals.
  • Build and lead a team of highly skilled Adobe technical experts to scale the business.
  • Provide data management and systems training to team members for relevant applications.
  • Interlock with the global centre of excellence on development of best practices and point of view papers.
  • Review and approve marketing analytics solution proposals to ensure they are deliverable on time and budget.

What you need to succeed.
  • Proven conceptual knowledge of web/mobile application paradigm, content management systems, browser applications, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), social media, and/or mobile and web analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex data and technical information to a diverse group of stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with large data set management and multivariate analysis with the ability to derive insights from data.
  • Previous experience implementing Adobe Analytics throughout a variety of platforms, including websites and apps.
  • Previous Tag Management experience, preferably with Dynamic Tag Manager or Google Tag Manager.
  • Knowledge of MVT and A/B tests.
  • Expertise across the following industries: Financial Services, Retail / eCommerce, CPG, Media & Entertainment, Telecommunications, Travel & Hospitality, Healthcare, High Tech.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with ability to engage, advise and inspire senior executives.
  • Ability to build, lead and coordinate cross-functional / technical teams.
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to absorb new concepts quickly.
  • High level of energy, personal drive, and positivity.
  • Travel required.
