Role Overview                                

The Avanade Advisory business is growing rapidly and requires a senior individual with a demonstrated passion for enabling our client’s transformation journeys to provide sales leadership and build a trusted advisor status with the current and target client base. They would be responsible for executing the sales strategy in defined regions for the Advisory business and demonstrate a passion for enabling our clients to drive value and change across the range of Avanade domain areas. They would be part of a European team and act as a proactive deal coach across the regions.  

Role Responsibilities     

  • Drive Advisory Market Maker activity, sales strategy and GTM in the Area
  • Drive sales origination across the Area based on agreed priority areas (accounts, regions, proposition, domain areas)
  • Part of a coordinated Market Maker team across the Area to effectively cover all domain areas
  • Delivery oversight of specific Advisory deals originated and closed
  • Own forecasting and pipeline management
  • Drive interlock with the regional Sales Team & OG Leads
  • Help execute a strategy for engagement with Microsoft and Accenture
  • Drive a consistent sales discipline & adherence to Avanade approach, messaging and processes
  • Act as proactive ‘deal coach’ to sales lead on Area key Advisory deals & brings disciplines of win themes, close strategies etc
  • Identify and own a minimum of one key lighthouse Advisory opportunity building a response team and driving to a successful closure
  • Own a personal primary sales quota

Role Skills and Capabilities 

  • Professional & experienced seller/sales leadership
  • Ability to carry and deliver personal primary sales quota
  • Skilled at being a ‘player/coach’, able to drive sales personally, as well as motivate, inspire and drive his/her sales team to deliver
  • Strong sales disciplines & knowledge of Avanade selling processes and best practice
  • Strong focus on driving results (sales targets, forecasting disciplines, pipeline management etc.)
  • Executive-level gravitas & team player, driving the total Area’s metrics, not just sales (Revenue) 
  • Understanding of our client’s business challenges & ability to articulate these whilst bringing Avanade solutions to help solve them

Preferred Education Background:                                                   

       A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field experience                                           

Preferred Years of Work Experience:                                                   

       10+ years including at least 5 years in shaping and selling complex Advisory deals 

Preferred Years of Management Experience:            

       7+ years managing people and teams.   

Accountabilities & Metrics:              

  • Fully accountable for Advisory sales and revenue targets for agreed priority areas (accounts, regions, proposition, domain areas).
  • Active focus on pull-through sales generated as a result of successful Advisory work
