Adobe Experience Manager Technical Lead
The Digital team work closely with Avanade’s enterprise clients to design and deploy customer centric solutions that focus on improving customer experience across pre-sales (Digital Marketing), sale and service (CRM) at every touchpoint. 

Our engagements employ leading digital experience, industry trends, customer-journey mapping, organisational assessments and other techniques to deliver high-impact recommendations. Implementing scalable technology platforms and solutions is a major part of enabling desired digital experiences.

The Adobe Experience Manager technical lead will drive solution architecture and design of large and complex public facing websites. Experience of Microsoft technologies and Microsoft Dynamics365 is a plus.

Ideal candidate must have a solid development background across multiple technical disciplines including AEM development and front end web application development.

This is a European role. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams of digital strategists, experience designers and experience technologists. You will have experience of delivering CX initiatives utilising design led and agile methodologies, with strong understanding of marketing technologies, digital experience and customer engagement platforms (e.g., Adobe Marketing Cloud, and Microsoft Dynamics365 CRM,). 


Your day-to-day tasks. 
  • Engage in pre-sales conversations, and lead technical design of AEM solutions.
  • Design and improve development methodologies around Adobe AEM solutions.
  • Create and integrate content-driven applications on top of AEM’s core platform and integrate with e-commerce solutions and search engines.
  • Work with technology teams to build and maintain web applications using Adobe’s Experience Manager CMS to include site architecture, custom components, workflow development, Digital Asset Management (DAM).
  • Integrate websites with web analytics tools and analyse/report on analytics data.
  • Build and lead a team of highly skilled Adobe technical experts to scale the business.
  • Design and deliver integrated digital marketing solutions consisting of Adobe, Microsoft and other vendor solutions.
  • Interlock with the global centre of excellence on development of best practices and point of view papers.
  • Review and approve technical solution proposals to ensure they are deliverable on time and budget

What you need to succeed.
  • Proven experienced of AEM development with knowledge in web framework based development and internet technologies.
  • Proven experience of leveraging AEM, other state-of-the-art technologies, and integration patterns to solve cross-departmental challenges.
  • Experience of developing digital consumer experiences based on foundation of the Adobe AEM product suite, including AEM, CRX, Target and DAM.
  • Ability to translate marketing and web requirements into AEM specific recommendations and solutions.
  • Expertise across the following industries: Financial Services, Retail / eCommerce, CPG, Media & Entertainment, Telecommunications, Travel & Hospitality, Healthcare, High Tech.
  • Experience in creating technical delivery roadmaps along with a high-level understanding of the technologies and tactics needed for execution.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with ability to engage, advise and inspire senior executives.
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills including talent for conducting analysis, requirement specification, use case and data modelling, technical design, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Ability to build, lead and coordinate cross-functional / technical teams.
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to absorb new concepts quickly.
  • High level of energy, personal drive, and positivity.
  • Travel required.
